Trip to San Diego

Ok so these are just a few highlights of our trip. Curt and I went to San Diego last week for 5 nights with my mom and step dad. We went to Sea World, which was my favorite, we went to San Diego Zoo, which was cool but not all that much better then Hogle Zoo. The Zoo there had panda bears and was Alot bigger but really just more grounds to walk and not a lot of different animals then we have here. The Seymore and Clyde show was great at Sea World. One of the days down there we went to the AircraftNavy ship, USS Midway and took a tour on it. We walked up and down stairs for 4 hrs and still didn't get to see the whole ship. It really makes you apprecaite what those men and women do for all of us. It would not be fun to live on that ship for a year at a time. They had bunkbeds that slept 3 people and you couldn't even have sat up in bed cause the beds were so cloe together. Thay had about 4,500 people sleeping on that thing. They also took off and landed planes on the top deck of the ship, which this is curt sitting in on of them.
On Thurs night Curt and Gregg had tickets to the Raiders and Chargers game so me and my mom treated ourselfs to Pedicures and a manicure. We shopped a little at a Target there that had a upstairs in it, so it had a escalater that you and your shopping cart could ride up. We also had some yummy dinner together.

This is when we were on the ship again and there is a seat on there for the driver of the boat and he has his own personal seat and i thought it had my name on it. Ha HA but Curt does tell the kids that I am the boss.

Another shot of the awesome whales in San Diego. They put on the best show there and it's so fun to see those animals do what they can. I was able to pay a couple dollars and buy some fish to feed the dolphins. That was another favorite thing. They would swim right up to you and let you throw the fish into there mouth and then while they were waiting for another fish they would let you pet them. They feel so cool to touch.

I have so many pictures that I cannot post them all cause i haven't figured out the slide show yet. We had such a good get away even though I missed the kids! Thanks mom and Gregg for the wonderful time. You guys are the best and we had a great time with you guys for the week. Curt and Gregg thought you couldn't go to the beach and not get into the ocean so they were crazy and got in and played in the big waves, the water was freezing. I put my feet in but that's it. We were able to get to 2 movies and ate out at lots of food places.

Happy Birthday!!

Well its my hubby's birthday today. The kids picked out a Jazz ornament to give him, so this is him posing with it.
I know I should have been making him breakfast but he woke up early and made himself and the kids there favorite, swedish pancakes, to eat before we left this morning.

Can you guess how old he is?? We had these candles in his pancake but my camera didn't work for a second so we had to re- capture the moment.

He will probably never read this cause he thinks I am silly for having a blog but I just wanted everyone else to know what a Wonderful, Handsome, Caring, Hard working, Funny husband I have. Even on the mornings that he has only gotten 3- 4 hrs of sleep, he still wakes up whistling and singing with more energy then any of the rest of us. He works so hard so that I don't have to work much. I appreciate being able to be home with our 3 great kids as much as I do. He is my best friend and I am thankful for all the years I have had him in my life. He gets better and better looking each year, even with the grey hair, and I am proud to be his wife! If your reading this then please remember how much I love ya and that I hope you have an awesome birthday!!!

Brayden the hot dog boy

This is Brayden and his soccer buddy Noah. We spent a few hrs out side of Dan's in Layton on Sat. We sold hot dogs, chips and a drink for $2 and also hot chocolate for $1. They did pretty well for themselves.
More of Brayden and Noah. Brayden's mouth can sometimes get him into trouble, but this day I encouraged him to yell and be loud to get people over to us. He told alot of people that they looked hungry and to come over and help a kid make his dream come true!lol.

We had a pretty good set up and when the boys had no customers they gathered around the grill to stay warm.

Fundraisers $$$

Ok i have some pictures of Brayden doing ONE of his many fundraisers but left my camera at my grandmas, so they will come later. I need help and ideas. This is what's up! Brayden has been invited over to England with his soccer team to play soccer at the United Manchester field for 10 days. He will eat, play soccer, eat and play more soccer for 10 whole days. The catch is that Brayden has to come up with 3,000.00 to go. Brayden has sold everything from cookie dough, beanies, car decals, pizza, to hot dogs and chips! He has really worked hard and we have until June when he leaves to get the money. Right now he is selling SCENTSY so if any of you out there would like an easy, wonderful gift for someone or yourself for christmas then give us a call and we can bring you samples and take orders. Also, if anyone out there has a good fundraiser idea please share. I am running out of things for him to do. We did a yard sale and will probably do another in the spring but we need the cash to keep coming. Maybe someone works for a generous business that you know would be willing to sponsor Brayden. My wk gave Brayden $5o as a sponsor so whatever a business will do is one step closer to our goal. Leave me a comment about a good way to raise money without me picking up a 2nd job.

Thanksgiving at school

Madison and her class spent all week making there Indian costumes. They made there paper bag vest at home then made the indian headband with feathers at school. Of course the costume wouldn't be complete without the macaroni necklaces. This is Madison and her friends, Makayla and Ashlyn.
Mrs. Choate and the whole class. They were able to go down to the lunchroom and have a turkey feast. The turkey and mashed potatos were delicious.

After the lunch we took the kids through the school on a little parade. They enjoyed showing off there Indian outfit.

The Best Grandpa

Madison had the best time at my moms yesterday, she talked grandpa into letting her paint HIS fingernails AND toenails. He siad "OK if i can paint yours, you can paint mine" so this is what i came home from work to find. I might be in trouble for putting these on here, but if you don't tell him he will never know, Right?? He is so good to our family and he obviously will do whatever Madi wants. My mom had him convinced that she had no finger nail polish remover in the house and he about freaked. What a good sport. Gregg you are awesome and i totally think that bright red is your color. He seems so proud to show off his nails in this picture.
