Happy Birthday!!

Well its my hubby's birthday today. The kids picked out a Jazz ornament to give him, so this is him posing with it.
I know I should have been making him breakfast but he woke up early and made himself and the kids there favorite, swedish pancakes, to eat before we left this morning.

Can you guess how old he is?? We had these candles in his pancake but my camera didn't work for a second so we had to re- capture the moment.

He will probably never read this cause he thinks I am silly for having a blog but I just wanted everyone else to know what a Wonderful, Handsome, Caring, Hard working, Funny husband I have. Even on the mornings that he has only gotten 3- 4 hrs of sleep, he still wakes up whistling and singing with more energy then any of the rest of us. He works so hard so that I don't have to work much. I appreciate being able to be home with our 3 great kids as much as I do. He is my best friend and I am thankful for all the years I have had him in my life. He gets better and better looking each year, even with the grey hair, and I am proud to be his wife! If your reading this then please remember how much I love ya and that I hope you have an awesome birthday!!!

Brayden the hot dog boy

This is Brayden and his soccer buddy Noah. We spent a few hrs out side of Dan's in Layton on Sat. We sold hot dogs, chips and a drink for $2 and also hot chocolate for $1. They did pretty well for themselves.
More of Brayden and Noah. Brayden's mouth can sometimes get him into trouble, but this day I encouraged him to yell and be loud to get people over to us. He told alot of people that they looked hungry and to come over and help a kid make his dream come true!lol.

We had a pretty good set up and when the boys had no customers they gathered around the grill to stay warm.

Fundraisers $$$

Ok i have some pictures of Brayden doing ONE of his many fundraisers but left my camera at my grandmas, so they will come later. I need help and ideas. This is what's up! Brayden has been invited over to England with his soccer team to play soccer at the United Manchester field for 10 days. He will eat, play soccer, eat and play more soccer for 10 whole days. The catch is that Brayden has to come up with 3,000.00 to go. Brayden has sold everything from cookie dough, beanies, car decals, pizza, to hot dogs and chips! He has really worked hard and we have until June when he leaves to get the money. Right now he is selling SCENTSY so if any of you out there would like an easy, wonderful gift for someone or yourself for christmas then give us a call and we can bring you samples and take orders. Also, if anyone out there has a good fundraiser idea please share. I am running out of things for him to do. We did a yard sale and will probably do another in the spring but we need the cash to keep coming. Maybe someone works for a generous business that you know would be willing to sponsor Brayden. My wk gave Brayden $5o as a sponsor so whatever a business will do is one step closer to our goal. Leave me a comment about a good way to raise money without me picking up a 2nd job.

Thanksgiving at school

Madison and her class spent all week making there Indian costumes. They made there paper bag vest at home then made the indian headband with feathers at school. Of course the costume wouldn't be complete without the macaroni necklaces. This is Madison and her friends, Makayla and Ashlyn.
Mrs. Choate and the whole class. They were able to go down to the lunchroom and have a turkey feast. The turkey and mashed potatos were delicious.

After the lunch we took the kids through the school on a little parade. They enjoyed showing off there Indian outfit.

The Best Grandpa

Madison had the best time at my moms yesterday, she talked grandpa into letting her paint HIS fingernails AND toenails. He siad "OK if i can paint yours, you can paint mine" so this is what i came home from work to find. I might be in trouble for putting these on here, but if you don't tell him he will never know, Right?? He is so good to our family and he obviously will do whatever Madi wants. My mom had him convinced that she had no finger nail polish remover in the house and he about freaked. What a good sport. Gregg you are awesome and i totally think that bright red is your color. He seems so proud to show off his nails in this picture.

Movie night

So yesterday I took Jake and Madison to see High School Musical. My sister and her girls came with us and we had a good time. I didn't capture any pictures but i thought i would just write and say that without seeing the first two shows i still really enjoyed the movie. I was wondering if i am too old to have a crush on "Troy"??. I love watching people that can sing or dance and if you can do both, then that's even better. The girls LOVED the movie and i would even say Jake enjoyed himself but i think he liked the popcorn more.

Drummer Girl

Oh my Gosh! Look at Madison. She has it in her head that she wants to play the drums. She use to use everything as a "drum" until about a month ago my step.dad found a drum set on KSL and bought it. Gregg has played the drums since he was in the 7th grade, so once someone mentioned wanting to learn he jumped on the excuse to buy some. We go down to the shop and let her bang away. He tried to teach her a basic song but she just goes to town and bangs away at them. It will be really awesome if she keeps it up and can play them one day.
Madison and her grandpa Gregg. Learning a few things on the drums.

She is the happiest little girl when she knows we get to hang out with grandpa and play the drums. Thanks Gregg for making Madi so happy. Your pretty awesome at them yourself!!

My little girl is growing up!

So Madison had her kindergarten school yearbook pictures yesterday and she just looked so grown up. Aunt Kaycee did her hair for me cause i just can't do hair cute. All those pumpkins are now in the garbage but Brayden had to spray paint one for fun i guess.
I just wanted to get a couple shots before school and look at these poses. You don't think she has been asked to smile for the camera before do you.

What a ham. It's always cute for a 5 year old to have confidence, i think but i am afraid for her to be even 8. She really did feel "so cute" as she said, when Kaycee did her all up Pretty. Thank you Kaycee! What would I ever do without you!!!!???

Grandpa and Madi

This is my dad who I love so much. You can't tell in this picture but Madison has her nose covered in frosting. My dad is known for "trying" to get you to smell something and then when you do, he puts your nose into it. Well no one falls for it anymore but i guess Madison has not learned yet! That or she just does whatever grandpa asks her to do. Madison has 3 grandpas that she just loves and adores so much. I am pretty sure she can get whatever she wants from any of them. I love you dad! Thanks for coming over on Halloween and taking the kids around the neighborhood. Ronda your dinner was delicious as usual and it was fun to visit.

Halloween Fun

Ok first of all, these pictures look lile poo because my digital was not working so this disposable camera i had didn't turn out all that well. I can't complain too much since i was the one that developed them tonight though right? This is the kids with Marianne and Cindy.
This is Madison in her Gorilla suit, which was Brayden's a few years back. I wish you could see her face a little better but i took this photo thinking of you Kristy and Deanna. Hope you like it.

This is us again at Madi's kindergarten class Halloween party. They sang a bunch of cute songs and told jokes. Can you spot my little monkey in this pic?

This picture doesn't look good but this is Madison and her whole class and their teacher. I am so bumbed they don't look good. What did we ever do without digital when we could check the picture out to make sure we got a good one.

A nice room mom came and told the kids that she was a witch and that she made this potion out of crushed bones, blood, and dragon's breathe. All the kids had a turn at stirring the potion.
