We had to meet a friend in Riverdale yesterday by Kid to Kid so we went in while waiting and Madi just got a kick out of this cute little door that was her size. We found some cute pink soccer cleats in there for four dollars so I am glad we went in.

This was today at soccer. Madison and Marina have so much fun together. Good thing to because they spend alot of time together while watching there brothers play soccer or at practices. Madi is wearing grandmas sunglasses. How cute is she?!

Soccer season has begun

Brayden had his first game today out in Sandy and they won. It's always nice to get a win after you drive that far to watch. We will be having games on wed. for Jake and Brayden and Madi will start in 2 weeks and she will play on sat. along with Jake. This will be the first year that me and Curt will definetly have to split up and go to different games throughout the week. Both Jake and Brayden play for Wasatch and both are #1. I really enjoy watching the boys play sports and it's fun to watch them improve over the year.
Good job Brayden, you played great today!

Another pic of Madi

So this is Madi on her 3rd day of school and she wanted me to take her pic. again. She was so excited to have her hair in a side pony. I have pictures of me with this same hair do which i don't know if it's too cute but she loves it. Another reason to post this is to let my husband know he is awesome! He woke up early with me this morning cause i was running late to get to work so he got Madi ready this day. Look how good he did her hair and even the outfit was cute and matched.

Raingutter Ragota

Jake and his scout group had the rain gutter ragota on wed. Jake's boat did not win but he did have alot of fun the week before painting and decorating his boat with his dad. He didn't have the slowest boat either so that's good. No wonder he didn't win to this kid check out this kids cheeks and how good he was blowing his boat. lol I sure do enjoy being in scouts with Jake. We have fun on wednesdays together and we have some cute boys in our den with us.

Go Jake Go!

Scout camp

The first of Aug. Curt and Brayden went up to camp Loll near Yellowstone. The had such a good time with each other and with the other yong men and leaders that went. This is my silly husband with his crazy hair wig that he takes with him every where. Brayden earned his canoeing merit badge.

Practicing his rowing technique, i think. Brayden said that the water is freezing there, i guess that explains why he is the only boy without his shirt on.

Cutting fire wood for the cold, cold nights they get there.

Listening and learning how to rapel. He did so good at this. A few leaders were so impressed and said he was a monkey and just climbed up the mountain like it was no big deal. He also earned his rapelling merit badge. I am so proud of him and so jealous of his athletic ability. I have none so I am happy that he just tries most things and is able to do it. I was glad that him and Curt were able to get away together for awhile and have some father son time. Too bad they were both gone the week i started a new job. I was really missing them both that week and really realized how much help they both are to me around the house and with the kids.

Jake

Jake is now playing with a comp soccer team, wasatch soccer. He is loving it and they just played in a soccer tournament in Layton. They lost the first two games and won there last one. He is so fun to watch and I am thankful that Brayden will go out in the yard and teach him new things. Go Wasatch Thunder!!! Go # 1

Jake has made some new friends, unfortunatly they all live in Kaysville but he is having so much fun and we love watching him play.

Superman

So last night I had done the laundry and layed the clothes on the boys bed, Jake tried to tell me that these were not his and that they were Brayden's. So Brayden said "Ok Jake they probably are mine, let me go put them on" So he went and put them on and they fit perfectly, haha!! I guess he put the funny looking hat on just to look even dumber but we all had a good laugh. He looks so good in his belly shirt P.J's

First day of school

So yesterday was the first day of school and I am sad. I am sad that summer is over and the playing has to stop. Jake is starting 3rd grade and says it is boring. He said all they did was color on the first day which sounds fun to me but Jake is not thrilled to be starting school again. This was taken this morning, I just wanted another picture of them. Jake was more excited for school today because he found out yesterday that he had a bunch of friends in his class.

My baby started the 1st grade and i am sad and happy! I wished for this day many timed when the kids were smaller and now that it is here I am a little sad that my kids are growing up WAY too fast. Madi really wanted her hair straightened for her first day. I am no good at doing girl hair but she was happy with it. I am never as good as aunt Kaycee but hey... she will take what she can get, right?

I really can't believe I have an 8th grader, WOW do I feel old. What a stud he is and I am so proud of him. He was really excited for school but mostly because all the girls dress up and look there best on the first day of school he said. Lol

I started a new job after 13 years with Smith's, which is very scary but so far I am loving it and it will be so much better for my family. I now have all three kids in school full time but instead of really enjoying the quiet time and being bored i am sure, I will work from 9am til 3 so it will be perfect. I will be home in the evenings with the kids to do dinner, homework and bedtime. I also can be the one to attend soccer games and practices which are held in the evenings. I have been working with Bell Photographers for 3 weeks now and am happy and excited for the changes that are taking place in my life.

Black foot Idaho

So last wekend we took the kids up to my grandparents place in Idaho. They bought a house with my aunt and uncle about two years ago and we finally made it up there. We had such a fun time. Curt took the weekend off so he could come but Brayden was in Yellowstone for scout camp so we missed him. This is the kids playing in the old boat, this is the same boat i learned to water ski behind when i was 11. This is most of the group that was up there. What a fun weekend out with my sisters, dad, grandparents, aunt, uncle and some cousins.
Madi said this was the coolest thing that she had ever seen. They had this 2 person bike that Madi loved. It was a little easier to ride when it was Curt and I on it cause we both could peddle and help but with Madi on the back, she was just there for the ride cause her feet couldn't reach the peddle to well.

This is my grandmas dog, Abbie, who was never left alone for the 3 days we were there. Madi loved this dog and took it on several walks a day.

This is my cute dad and step mom. I love them both and they were alot of help with the kids.

They had wave runners up there so even though it wasn't very warm we had to take them out for a ride. I love the water and i had so much fun on them. This is Curt out taking Tayler for a ride.

This is me, Karly, Madi and Meg. They had 4 wave runners so we just kept taking turns with them. I didn't have a camera with me so these pictures came from Kaycee, so we didn't get pictures of me and Jake getting a ride in the tube behind the wave runner. ALso, curt, Jake and I took a ride in the peddle boat.

I feel bad that I don't have alot of pictures of Jake this trip but he didn't do much besides throw a baseball back and forth to Nate ALL weekend. Thanks Nate for entertaining Jake and taking him on several fun four wheeler rides.

Brayden is home.

OK so I didn't really expect more then this because Brayden has never really been one to take pictures before but I though by going to England I would get more then this. This is the remote from the airplane that he thought was awesome cause it turned into a playstation or something remote too.

This is a nice shot he must have taken himself.

Him and his best buddy Avery in a airport.

Him once he was home with some of his souviners.
Ok so this is pretty and I wish I would have gotten more stuff like this. My good friends Candyce and Shannon took cameras though and I am counting on getting some copies of there stuff.
A cool photo of a phone booth there. I like how you can see Brayden in the glass.
Brayden and his buddy Alex.
He went to a Ice bar, all the lounge chairs were ice and the seats and the bar were all ice so they have you put on these jackets when you come in.

This was when they went to watch the changing of the guards. I sure am jealous now and wish I would have went but I am glad he had fun and was able to have this experience. He said he would go back tommorrow if he could. He was able to meet boys from all over, some from Germany, Florida and England. I hope he keeps in touch with them.

Fun with Grandpa

Last week my step dad called and asked if he could take all the grandkids to Ice Age 3. So of course the kids wanted to but so did I. lol So I invited myself to tag along, we took 5 kids to the movie and it was a cute show. After we were done my kids wanted to go to grandpas shop and build something out of wood. So I went home and he took them to build something. I went down a hr later and this is what I found them doing... playing darts, Jake had his friend Zach over so he participated in the fun. These boys have alot of fun together. They both love sports so you can usually find them playing soccer, football or basketball out in the yard. They even dressed the same on this day.

Grandpa used to play the drums so he bought some drums to have down at the shop to let the kids bang around on and Madi LOVES it. Look at her face, trying to concentrate on what she was doing.

Jake was able to build a bird house, which he passed off doing in his cub scout book, then he painted it all by himself.

Madison made her a jewelry box, which turned out very cute and then she painted it too. She painted it several colors but the yellow color she called Laffy taffy banana. funny kids.

What a fun saturday!!!

These are out of order but we had a busy day yesterday. This is me and my cute kids at my annual Kelson reunion. It is always fun to see all my cousins that I really never see besides at this reunion or on Christmas. After the reunion we went to a friends and watched the Roy days fireworks. This is my sister in law and brother in law watching the fireworks with us also. Jake was really enjoying them this year look how into them he is.

My 2 sisters also came with me to watch the fireworks, this is my sister Karly and Brayden and Tay bug. Brayden is a big dork and was pretending to be bored.

Trason, Meg, Madi and Aubree, some of the cute kids there.

Back to us at the reunion. This is my siblings and my dad. Karly said to make a funny face for this shot but Clint is just looking at us like we are wierd.

On sat morning we started our morning off at the Roy parade. My sister works for a daycare in roy and she had to walk the parade and pass out flyers.

I sure love my sisters and brother, we have so much fun when we are together and I am so thankful we all live minutes apart from each other. I love my dad too! He is such a great man.

This is one of the cute floats in the parade. I wish everyone still did cute floats but it seems to be cop cars and firetrucks along with a bunch of cheerleaders in the parades these days. The kids love it though so we had a good time.
