Flashback

My sister Kaycee went digging under my moms stairs last week and came across some old pictures. So on Father's day we sat around and looked at these old photos and laughed. So for now I picked 5 random ones to share and I will continue to post more later. Look at this one of me, Kaycee and CJ Isn't it cute that Kaycee and CJ have on almost the exact outfit. lol I think I was about 14 in this picture and I really loved this shirt. This was taken right before church but I can't remember why I was so grouchy. Curt says this is a Punky Brewster shirt. Look at how the sleeves are see through an how I had it buttoned all the way up.

This is my softball team back in 7th grade. This is Brayden's age so I asked if he thought i was a cute 7th grader and he said "not really" but the funny thing is he looks alot like me at that age. Amy, Danielle, and Brandi, I hope you get a kick out of this picture!! Click on the picture to look at it better.

This is one of my favorite christmas's. I got cabbage patch dolls that were twins.

If you look close at this picture you will see me in the back with the peach outfit on and I am posing like Jake always does now. If I remember correctly we didn't own a tramp at this house and I remember it was a big family party and I swear we went to our neighbors and borrowed there tramp. Just dragged it over from the next house over. Stay tuned for the next group of oldie but goodie pictures!

Camping at Camperworld

So my friend invited us up to her trailer last week but of course it rained all day. We made the best of it and we played dominos inside. Curt decided to pose like Jake usually does. Once the rain stopped and we could go back outside for a bit we saw this beautiful rainbow.

You can't see Madi's fingernails that good but since we were stuck inside for the day we got the nail polish out and painted her nails.

Happy late Father's Day!

I didn't get a picture of Curt with the kids on Father's day so I had to use this picture but it works perfectly for showing what a great, fun dad my kids have. I couldn't have asked for a better daddy for my kids. He teaches them so much in life. My kids have great manners because of him, he is always sitting down with them to do homework, always wanting to teach them new things in life but is also the first to put everthing down and go out on a bike ride with them or play catch in the yard. I love you honey and am so thankful you came into my life. You have stepped up and helped me raise Brayden like he was your own, and we all love you soooo much! This is my daddy! This is us 4 siblings with our dad on Father's day. I have a wonderful dad who never lets a day pass without calling to see how I am. He works so hard for the things that he has and I just love this man...

Pack meeting

Jake just started scouts and had his first pack meeting last night. We had a great time, it was out at Fort Beunaventura in Ogden. Who knew there was the nicest camp ground this close to home. They had rented 3 canoes for us to take out and paddle around. Thanks honey for taking our kids and all the others out for a turn.

Jake received his Bobcat award and that was really cool for him. They made me and Curt go up there with him to present the award to him.

A boy there last night received his Arrow of light award so they had this Indian come and give a nice speech.

We also had a burning of the flag. It was neat to be there for something like that. Brayden and the other boys ended up pitching tents and had an overnighter there. It was a good family night and Cub master Dave did a really good job putting that together for the boys and there families.

Rampage Tourn.

These are not great pictures but I wanted to say that I am so proud of Jake. He played in his first Soccer tournament today and did so good. He was getting really bored with AYSO so we signed him up for a comp. team and he is loving it. He can't wait for his 2 practices a week and was so nervous for his game today. The boys he is playing with are all good and kinda now to play there positions and was just fun to watch. He is taking after Brayden in loving to play soccer. They ended up losing 6-1 but they had a great time. Thanks Kaycee for coming out to support, too bad the wind picked up like it did. Madison wanted to know if we were in a tornado. lol

My little boy turned 8 today!

So today has been a great day. WE started the afternoon off by having Jake's baptism. How cool is that to be baptized on your actual 8th birthday. I am so proud of Jake for choosing to baptized. He has always done what is right and has been such a good kid but hopefully he continues to choose the right. These pictures are on her backwards so I will start here. We had sooo many family members and friends come out to celebrate Jake's day. After the baptism we had everyone over for food and this is Jake enjoying some nachos. This year we decided to have a baseball themed party, so we served everthing you would find at a baseball game. We cooked up some hot dogs and hamburgers, had nachos, peanuts, popcorn and drinks. We also had baseball cupcakes. I was visiting too much and didn't get pictures of the cupcakes or the backyard setup but i think it turned out real cute. (THANK YOU KAYCEE)
This is Curt grillling our hotdogs. Don't you think everyone should wear there black church socks with there crocks, only my husband!

Jake opening his gifts. Not only did he get lots and lots of birthday gifts but people gave him some nice gifts for his baptism.

My step dad has the same birthday as Jake and we always celebrate them together but today I think it was mostly about Jake, sorry Gregg, we love you and thanks for sharing your birthday with us!!!

My cute kids. I love them so much! They are growing up way to fast.

A family picture outside the church

What a stud. He is growing up so fast. He looks so grown up here and I am just so proud to be his mom. He is a great boy, so funny, smart, and a good brother to his siblings. He loves to sing and can always make me laugh.

If you looked at my posts about Disneyland you noticed every picture Jake posed like this and it drives me crazy but it' s Jake ,so oh well he was so happy today!

Oh my precious boys, they looked so nice in all white clothes.

Thanks to all of you that came out to support Jake today. It was such a great day. It really makes you realize what great friends and family we have. We had so many loved ones come and spend the day with us. We appreciate all of you!!

First camping trip of the summer

We went up to East Canyon and stayed in Curt's dads trailer for a couple days last week and it was a blast. We all went on a four wheeler ride. We enjoyed a day at the pool, and just had a blast! I forgot my camera on the actual ride, so this is them pretending on the trailer.
This is East Canyon!

Like father like son. Curt is soo much like his dad, we really love spending time with them!

Jake found his new favorite game on the trip. He LOVES checkers!! He was very good at it and always was able to beat me! I guess i have to practice!
