P.J. and movie night

On Sunday night I had my siblings and parents over to watch a christmas movie, Elf, and come in there jammies. Any one that knows my step dad knows that he is so shy but he even showed up in p.j.'s! He thought it was a wierd idea but he decided if he was going to participate he was going all out. HE had Curt crying because it was so funny. He went to Walmart and picked out these 2XL womens jammies and wore them. They were so small on him but soooo funny. What a good sport This is a shot of half of us that were there. We squeezed 19 of us in the room, even though 4 of the men kept sneaking downstairs to check on the football games.

We decided that everyone would bring a treat to share during the movie well i thought popcorn would be the #1 choice so i decided to make some BBQ wieners in the crockpot, my mom brought M&M"S and lots of small chocolate treats but EVERYONE else brought cake. What? Cake wouldn't be something i would think of to take to a movie but both my sisters, my sis in law and my step mom all brought either cup cakes or a cake. That was so funny I guess they all thought cake sounded delicious.

I love these kids

Over a month ago my sister in law took our family pictures and I just got a few back but I love this one of the 3 of them. My little family ( not so little I guess they are growing up on me WAY toooooo fast)

We had a good time doing this, it actually took about 40 minutes is all and my whole family was there, about 22 of us.

I love this holiday

So the tree is up and I am loving it. I love turning on the lights as soon as it gets dark and just sitting there by the tree and watching t.v. Just another random picture of the decorations.

Not sure why i posted this one, but i think this was just the night i decorated

The stockings are hung, the little one on the left is the one that Madi hung up so Santa could leave something for "FAt BUnny"( her stuffed animal since she was born)

I dont know how this one got one here also but I can't figure how to get it off, oops

Field trip to the Zoo

On Nov. 6th me and Curt were able to go with the 1st graders to the Hogle Zoo. We had a fun time with Madi and her friend Makayla. This was us girls on the way back home on the bus. The sun was in my eyes and I am a big dork but Madi said this one should go on here.
The girls riding on the train

It was really cool that both Curt and I were able to go with Madi on her field trip.

This is Malayla eating her apple for lunch, Curt and I were getting a kick out of watching her eat this she was eating eat in circles, silly girl.

The girls are standing in front of the dead bug case and this was there reaction. haha

These girls are so funny together and it was a enjoyable experience going to the Zoo and only being in charge of these two.

Happy 50th birthday to my mom

This proves how bad I am at keeping up with things but anyways... On Nov 6th my mom turned 50 so me and my siblings decided to through my mom a surprise party. Never again will I want to do that, it turned out good and it seems to have been a surprise but I don't know, and wow was it stressful and my sister Kaycee did most of the work. This is a 4 generation picture we took that night. My "bonus" dad and his girls along with Lucas
Some of the decorations we had around, cute pictures of my mommy when she was growing up.

My cute grandma and grandpa B, and my mom with one of her brothers and her sister

My cute grandma with 3 of her 4 kids. Lets not talk about the missing brother, that was some of the drama that happened that night, ( don't you hate it when invitations don't make it to where they were sent on time)

My mom with her " over the hill" button that we made her wear. I love you mom and hope you had a wonderful birthday even though you made us promise " no parties"
