Boondocks

On sat Nov. 28th Jake and I were invited to go to Boondocks in Kaysville. Jake's good friend Zach had a birthday and wanted to go try the new place out. We had a great time, the boys loved the race track, laser tag and the arcade games. Me and Shannon decided we could have taken the boys to a gym and let them shoot baskets all afternoon for much cheaper because that is what they kept playing over and over.

Footloose

My niece, Alexxis, was in the Roy High play of "Footloose". We went as a family to go watch her and she did awesome. Good job Lexi. Brayden's friend, Avery was even nice enough to join us and come show support.

Happy Birthday Curtis!

Curt's birthday was yesterday and we had a fun couple days celebrating! On sunday we had some good friends come over to eat with us and the best thing about that was that she brought the dinner. We love you Sheila, she even made Curt this yummy birthday cake. My cute husband !

Last night we were given some Jazz tickets, thanks C.J., so we went down there for Curt's birthday. My brother in law Dustin went with us also. We had a good time and it was fun having some one on one time with Jake. Brayden had his own ball game that he didn't want to miss and Madi had gymnastics. It was good to get out with Curt and I just want him to know that I couldn't have asked for a better husband and daddy for my kids and I hope you had a great day.

Ok well I just got these pic from my sister so I am adding more to my last post. This is my brother in law with all the kids before we headed out. This is my sister as a bee and my sister in law as a ? CAn you guess what she is? Think like your at a carnival. I loved her costume so cute.

Happy Halloween

Jake had his cousin kaitly and friend Zac come over to trick or treat this year. Jake was the clown. We had a group of about 11 walking around my neighborhood this year. My sister Kaycee and her fam, My lil sis. Karly and her boyfriend, My lil brother and his wife, my dad and me, curt and the kids. It sure was fun and most of us were dressed up, I walked around as Granny with my walker i will post pics of the rest of the group when i get them from a different camera. Curt's dad had us over for food, sugar cookies and bobbing for apples. My kids had never done this, actually Curt never has either so he joined in on the fun. This is Curt and Brayden.

Halloween party at work

On Friday we were able to dress up for work. It was so fun. We had a potluck lunch and just had a good laugh most of the day. I dressed up as an old lady with a walker and all. I had a pillow in my pants to make me have a nice round booty. I ended up winning the best costume prize. So this is me holding my gift card to Walmart. The whole gang.

When i went into work i wore gloves and was pretty covered up so it took the girls about ten minutes to figure out who I was. There was 3 other girls not at work yet so they didn't know which one of us it could be, but then they narrowed it down by our legs and they said " it has to be Kari with those legs" so I don't know how they knew my legs that well but that was funny. I told everyone I was dressed as Fay, and this is me next to Fay!?
