Photo Tag

Ok while i was reading Deannas blog i was challenged to do this. so what you do is put your 4th picture from your 4th album in your computer and do a post about it. Cute enough, this was a Halloween picture from about 6 years ago. This is Curt's grandma Thelma, that has since passed. My boys look so young and what is funny about this picture is that Madison has dug out the past costumes and has decided on the monkey suit that Brayden is wearing in this picture.

Fun at Grandma and Grandpas

LAst Friday my family and my sister in law and her kids went up to grandma and grandpas house to make fun Halloween crafts. My kids don't get to see their cousins near enough and so they were excited to see these ones. First Madi and her cousin Maizy made sugar cookies and frosted them
Then Curtis joined Madi and the boys in making Halloween bags.
Brayden and cousin Spencer thought they were too cool to make crafts but we begged them to join in the fun and they were good sports and there bags turned out really cute. I don't know how much candy will actually fit in those bags so they will leave those at home and take out the pillow cases instead to get them full.
Her is Madison showing off her cute witch bag. It was really fun to go visit with the family. Thanks Jill for taking time and getting fun things for the kids to make.

Friends

First of all i have to say sorry Jackie, we didn't think to take a picture til after you left but we love you! I know i have alot of good friends but no one has known me longer then this group of girls. We have ran around together since 7th grade, good ol' T.H. Bell and then off to Bonneville. We have been graduated for 12 years, i know i am old, but we still try to get together every 6 months or so and catch up on each others lifes or just sit and laugh about all the stupid things we did together. When I had Brayden at the age of 18 these girls were Brayden's babysitters. They all took there fair share of turns and I couldn't have made it without them. I love these women and am so thankful I have had them in my life for so long, through the good times and bad. Saturday night at Texas Roadhouse was a blast and i hope were still doing it when we are 50. Thanks girls for the fun night!

More of the Witches Halloween yard tour

So this is what they dress up to give you the tour. You pay your money at the front and they open the gate and go explore her backyard for however ong you want.
There is usually the four witches but not this night. Don't they look so cute?!I could not flip this pic for anything, I'm an idiot, But this is the article of Cindy in the paper. The standard Examiner did a big article on her and how she is raising $ for Primary Children's. This is her and a brain gettting ready to be grilled. Good job Cindy and Marianne for putting such long hrs and a lot of hard work into this. Hope you all can get out and let your little ones have some Halloween fun and for a good cause!

hAPPY hALLOWEEN

  1. Well my friends at Smiths are crazy when it comes to Halloween. This year they have decided to put it to good use. They have came up with the idea of the Halloween yard tour. It is $5.oo per person BUT all the money will go to Primary children's hospital. Cindy has made over 40 monsters and goblins and has them displayed all over her yard. They have done such an awesome job at putting this together and have enjoyed having people come to her house and enjoy looking at her people. It is not too scary and no one will jump out at you. Madi wasn't to sure of her monsters cause Madi says they are ugly. They give tours on every Tues, Fri and sat. The week of Halloween they will be doing it every night. So if you get a chance stop by and check it out and donate to the beautiful kids at Primary Children at the same time. It goes from 6pm to 9 pm. It is located in South Ogden AT 1008E. 4750S.

We can't decide?????

So about 2 years ago, we decided that we had 3 children and that was enough for us. Well for about a year or so Madi and Jake have begged for another sibling. Brayden has always said "Don't have another, because we are always late to everything and it would only get worse" Brayden said I should be done, but the other day I was watching my nephew and this is what I captured! I think he might be ok with another sibling around, What do you think?
I actually think a 4th would be quite easy for the fact that i have 3 others that would take good care of it. We still say we are finished and are very happy with the 3 beautiful healthy kids we have, but who knows?

Madi's First Field Trip

So madison had her very first field trip. They went to the Treehouse museum. She had a really fun time with her friend, Makayla. This is them behind the ticket counter saling tickets.
This is her being my student. She was writing her name over and over.
Madison was so excited for this day. This is her and Makayla waiting in line to get on the bus.
I think Madi's favorite part of the whole day was being able to ride on a school bus for the very first time. She thought it was awesome. She told me when i picked her up that " It was so fun and mom, they don't even make you wear seatbelts on there." I did get to join her there and it was a fun day. I am glad i get invited to field trips still because Brayden no longer has them and Jake perfers his dad to go with him.
