My niece Ellie turned 1

My brother and his wife threw a great party for their daughter last week. This is Brayden doing some trick off the diving board. Shalise made this cutest cake for Ellie. I thought this was so cute.

Manti

On our way home from St. George we stopped in Manti for one night so that Brayden and Curt could join up with the youth because they were having Youth Conference there this year. While Curt and Brayden were setting up there tents me and the other kids went to check this fun little city out. We came across this fun park that had so many new different toys there.

That evening after we ate at some little diner we joined up with Curt to watch the pageant. Brayden stayed back with the group he was with. The Manti pageant is very pretty.

I just want to say thanks to Shaye and CArol for letting me and the kids crash at your house. It was a fun overnighter and i think Manti is a fun little city but I don't think I could ever live there.

4th of July

We had a great day on Sat by going to Riverdale where I grew up and to celebrate the 4th of July and see all those friends you never see except for that one day a year. We went to the parade in the morning then up to the park for a carnival. After a little lunch Curt had to head into work but later that evening my family came over for some hotdogs and Smores on the fire. This is MAdi trying to stick one of those new gigantic marshmellows into her mouth. My cute brother and his cute wife at the parade, sorry Shalise the sun was right in your face.

Later that night we went back up to Riverdale park and watched there fireworks. This is our friends Shannon and Zach. The fireworks were great this year besides the fact we had debris landing on us from a bunch of the fireworks. I think Kaycee got pegged one time pretty good.

On Friday the Policeman and the Fireman played in there annual softball game but Curt didn't play because he has a torn muscle in his back but we went and watched and stuck around for the great BBQ they put on after for all the families. While we were there they started setting up a inflatable movie screen at the park so my kids talked me into staying to watch " monsters vs. Aliens" It was Riverdales first movie in the park and it ended up being really fun. It started about 9:30 and my kids enjoyed it alot. They also had a little raffle before it started with a bunch of fun prizes that different Riverdale stores had donated and I was one of the lucky winners. They called out my number and I won.... $75dollars to Walmart. So worth staying haha

St. George

We went to the Tuacahan while down in St. Geaorge and watched TArzan. It was so cute, Madi absolutly loved it. She wanted her picture taken with every character after the show.

We also took the kids to Toy story 3 while we were there and thats a cute show too. Ben and Jill joined us down there and we had a great time with them. Glad they could come down and hang out with us for a few days.

Brayden is such my child that likes to make sure he stays in shape and eat healthy. I should learn from him. Him and Jake went and ran on the treadmills.

Curt, Ben (his dad) and Jake. I love my Jones boys. The kids gave grandpa that lil fan that is a mister so grandpa wouldn't get too hot in the sun down there.

Jake LOVES ping pong and is very good at it. He beat Brayden, Curt and Grandpa and was so proud of himself. He didn't think me and Madi were too fun to play against.

Us all hanging out at the pool. That is where we spent most of our time. We love St. George and go at least once a year. Ben doesn't like the water but was a great sport and got in for a bit to be with the kids. I love that my kids are old enough to swim by themselves now and I could sit and watch and read from the side. I can't wait to get back there again next year!!!

Heber valley Camp

Cute lacie shaking her bootie, she was good at this game Us in our log cabins with bunk beds sitting around playing fun games. That ball of taped up candy on the table is an all time favorite game of ours and do not get in these girls way at all if its there turn to dig into it.

Rachell was a hoot to watch at this game, she did great. She has some great moves.

Ok Heidi don't hate me but this was such a fun night and i laughed sooo hard this night. It was a BEE themed girls camp and thats why most of us had bee antanas on but we played a bunch of different games that are played on the show " minute to win it" and Heidi was so good at this game.

This is me, haha I had to put these nylons over my head then use the leg part of it which had a tennis ball in the bottom of it to get it swinging and knock over water bottles that were lined up.

On June 7th we headed up to Girls camp. It was a great week. We have a great bunch of young women and there was awesome leaders there with me. This was our group up there. Heber Valley camp is a beautiful place. They say its a temple on the mountain and it really is! Some of the girls being silly. I love these girls, they were fun to be around.

One day we went to an obstacle course and did several challanges but the best one was the Zip line. It was sooo much fun. I am not afraid of heights but once I was up there my legs sure were shaking.
Climbing the pole to get up there was easy for me but it was scary going across and the ride down was awesome.

The 2nd day there we went on a 3 mile hike up to this look out point and it was so pretty there. We also spent a afternoon at the lake and played in canoes and peddle boats and that was fun also. I loved being the Camp directer this year but mostly because I had it so easy, Bunk beds in log cabins, food cooked for us every meal besides one and showers. It won't be as easy next year, i am sure of it.

Soccer tournament

Back in April we went to Boise Idaho for a soccer tournament for Brayden. They played so good and won every game except the last game. They lost in penalty kicks in the championship game and they were so sad, this shot is of the boys with there heads hung low walking of the field after they lost. The team!! They received 2nd place medals
